About the IT Cybersecurity & System Administrator Certificate
The cybersecurity and system administrator certificate prepares students for entry-level work in IT systems. Cybersecurity and system administrators maintain computer systems. They may install, maintain, monitor, update, and repair computers, servers, applications.
In the cybersecurity and system administrator certificate program, you’ll learn about PC maintenance, wireless communications, networking, servers, CISCO routers and switches, and more. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to pick up internationally-recognized certifications from CompTIA, CISCO, Microsoft, and more. You’ll also develop the professional skills needed for successful employment such as self-management, communication, and interviewing.
Employment opportunities may be available in any industry, from education and non-profits to corporations and global enterprises.
The cybersecurity and system administrator certificate is a one-year program designed for entry-level employment. Additional coursework can be added to earn an associate degree for advanced career and educational opportunities.
