Course Description
Prerequisite: Must possess a current Michigan CNA license for 2 years. No course prerequisites are required. The Medication Aide Training Program is a 100-hour course approved by the State of Michigan, Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and is derived from the Michigan Public Health Code, Part 219, sections 333.21901-333.21925. The model curriculum consists of 60 hours of didactic training, which will include skills lab and/or simulation, in addition to 40 hours of supervised clinical practicum. [Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring]
