Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in MUSI 131 or permission of Dean or Director of Choral Activities; concurrent enrollment in MUSI 251 required. This course is a continuation of MUSI 131 and will focus on the phonetics and translations of French and German vocal literature as well as important composers and innovations in the development of art song and opera in these respective languages. [Semester Offered: Spring]
