About the Emergency Medical Technician Program
The EMT program is a two-class credential program that prepares students to work as an emergency medical technician.
In this program you’ll learn how to administer emergency care through both classroom instruction and hands-on practice.
Upon completion of the program, you’ll be eligible to take the Michigan Department of Public Health licensure exam for EMTs.

The Nursing and Health Education Building reopened in 2019 following a $9.6 million renovation. It is equipped with state-of-the-art skill and simulation labs to train students for real-world scenarios.
