19 Roadrunners Named to NJCAA All-Academic Teams

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) announced its 2023-2024 All-Academic Teams July 18, and the Southwestern Michigan College Roadrunners are well-represented.
Nineteen student-athletes were named to the three teams for their performance in the classroom. To qualify as First Team, students must earn a 4.00 GPA, Second Team is 3.80-3.99 GPA and Third Team is 3.60-3.79 GPA.
NJCAA All-Academic First Team: Abi Marquis (Volleyball), Taylor Miller (Volleyball) and Tori Yates (Women's Cross Country).
NJCAA All-Academic Second Team: Emma Beckman (Volleyball), Sophia Deeds (Volleyball), Anna Johnson (Volleyball), Micah Ordway (Men's CC), Morgan Piezcynski (Women's CC), Carlie Ritchie (Volleyball), Juliette Schroeder (Volleyball), Riley Sinkler (Women's CC) and Kierstyn Thompson (Women's CC).
NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: Charlee Balcom (Women's Basketball), Emilee Demski (Volleyball), Amanda Jones (Volleyball), Macey Laubach (Women's BB), Taylor Meier (Women's CC), John Sanderson (Men's CC) and Cameron Thomas (Women's BB).
