About Academic Scholarships
All graduating high school seniors are automatically considered for academic scholarships after they apply for admission to SMC and send us their official high school transcript—no need to fill out a separate scholarship application.
You will be notified by mail and via your SMC email account, which will be assigned to you when you apply.
Academic scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning in the fall of the year before you plan to begin classes. Apply to SMC early for a better chance of receiving an academic scholarship.
Please Note: These awards may be reduced if the student receives other restricted or tuition-specific aid.
