Michigan Reconnect's Expanded To Include Residents 21+*

"Maybe someday" just became "definitely today." If you've always wanted to earn a degree and pursue your passions, now is the time. Especially since Michigan Reconnect has expanded its program to include residents 21 and older!* With Michigan Reconnect, you can earn your associate degree or skills certificate from SMC with free or reduced tuition.

Michigan Reconnect is a State of Michigan program that awards free community college tuition to those who meet the following criteria:

• Have lived in Michigan for over one year
• Will be at least 21 by November 15, 2024
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have not yet completed a college degree (associate or bachelor's)
• Are enrolled in an aid-eligible program
