Course Description
Prerequisites: TBD. Students are introduced to basic respiratory care concepts, equipment, and clinical techniques. Laboratory practice includes administration of medical gases, humidity and aerosol therapy, infection control practices, and basic airway management. Emphasis is placed on patient safety, equipment troubleshooting, and effective documentation. [Semesters Offered: Fall]
